Geo Mana rope-access technician fixing mesh to a steep rock face

About

Same crew. A name that carries more.

Ground Pro Limited is now Geo Mana. The people, the workmanship and the phone number have not changed.

The story

Built on steep ground.

Geo Mana grew from doing the awkward work well: steep ground, difficult access and the details that matter after the drilling stops.

01

Where it started

Ground Pro started on the slopes of West Auckland: clay banks, steep sections, driveways cut into hillsides. Slip repair after heavy rain was the first work we did, and it is still the core of what we do: soil nailing, rock bolting, rope access and erosion control on ground most contractors will not touch. That is why other contractors bring us in: we have worked under Downer NZ, Clyde Services and Tough Terrain on NZTA sites, while homeowners still ring us direct.

02

What the work taught us

Steep ground does not forgive shortcuts. Every anchor gets tested, every repair is built to the engineer's design and signed off, and every site is left tidy. Years spent on ropes above other people's homes taught us that the real deliverable is trust: the slope holding through the next storm, and the one after that.

03

Why Geo Mana

Mana is not something you claim. It is earned slowly, through conduct and workmanship, and lost quickly. Taking the name is not a boast. It is a standard we hold ourselves to on every slope we touch. The name changed. The obligation did not.

Values

What we hold to

  1. 01

    Respect

For the land we work on, the clients we work for, and the crew beside us.

  2. 02

    Integrity + accountability

We do what we quoted, and we own it when conditions change.

  3. 03

    Comradeship

Rope work depends on the person holding the other end of the line.

  4. 04

    Commitment

We stay until the slope is secure and the engineer has signed it off.

  5. 05

    Mana

Earned through conduct and workmanship, never claimed.

Standards

What we stand behind

01

Safety first

Certified rope access systems, documented rescue plans, and no job priced faster than it can be done safely.

02

Engineer-verified work

Anchors proof-tested and installations built to the geotechnical engineer's design, with sign-off before we leave site.

03

Straight talk

Plain reporting on what we found, what we did, and what the ground may do next. No jargon, no padding.

The transition

One company, two names

The registered company is unchanged: same directors, same crew, same insurances. Existing quotes, warranties and agreements made under Ground Pro Limited carry over to Geo Mana without alteration. The old name served us well, and it stays part of our record.
