Technician securing a steep coastal slip face with temporary weather protection

Emergency response

Slip? Secure it now.

A fresh slip gets worse with every hour of rain. Call us. We make it safe first, then plan the permanent fix.

What we do first

Make-safe, in order

  1. 01

    Assess

Inspect the slip face, head scarp and runout from safe positions. Establish what is still moving.

  2. 02

    Shore and cover

Temporary shoring where structures are at risk. Heavy-duty polythene over the exposed face to shed rain.

  3. 03

    Control water

Divert surface water away from the head of the slip. Water drives movement; cutting it off slows the failure.

  4. 04

    Plan the permanent fix

Scope the stabilisation works with your engineer or insurer: soil nailing, anchors, retaining, drainage.

Straight answers

Emergency work, plainly

How long does the covering last?

Our heavy-duty polythene is a temporary measure designed to last several months while you arrange permanent repairs. It is UV resistant but severe storms may require maintenance.

Is this a permanent fix?

No. This is a "make-safe" measure to reduce water saturation and prevent immediate erosion. You will still need a permanent retaining or stabilization solution.

Do you offer 24/7 service?
