What it does

Surface erosion strips a slope layer by layer until it undermines whatever sits above it. We control the water first with cut-off drains, flumes and regrading, then armour the face with geotextiles, matting or engineered cover matched to the soil and gradient. Systems range from temporary make-safe measures to permanent works.

Methodology

How the work runs

Every stage is matched to the engineer’s design and the conditions found on the face.

  1. 01

    Assessment

We map where water enters, crosses and leaves the slope. The erosion pattern shows where the controls need to go.

  2. 02

    Water control

Cut-off drains, flumes and regrading redirect runoff so the face is no longer acting as a channel.

  3. 03

    Surface protection

Geotextile, matting or engineered cover is fixed and anchored to suit the soil, gradient and exposure.

  4. 04

    Establishment

Vegetation is established through the protection layer and the system is checked after the first significant rain.

Questions

Common questions

Do you offer long-term erosion control solutions?

Yes, we provide both temporary and permanent erosion control using geotextiles, planting, slope re-shaping, and other engineered systems designed to protect land and infrastructure from ongoing surface runoff.

How do I know if my property needs slope stabilization?

Signs like cracks in the soil, leaning retaining walls, surface erosion, or recent slips are indicators of slope instability. If you're unsure, we can conduct a site inspection to assess the risks and recommend the right solution.

Is this a permanent fix?

No. This is a "make-safe" measure to reduce water saturation and prevent immediate erosion. You will still need a permanent retaining or stabilization solution.
