Slope stabilisation
Integrated reinforcement, facing and drainage for unstable natural and cut slopes.
What it does
Slope stabilisation is rarely one product. The right system may combine soil nails, ground anchors, rock bolts, mesh, drainage, erosion protection or retaining work. Geo Mana delivers the specialist construction and difficult-access parts of that system to the engineer's design, including workfaces that conventional plant cannot safely reach.
Methodology
How the work runs
Every stage is matched to the engineer’s design and the conditions found on the face.
- 01
Define the workface
Design, access, ground conditions, interfaces and hold points are reviewed with the lead contractor and engineer.
- 02
Establish access
Plant, rope systems, work platforms and exclusion zones are selected to suit the face and surrounding operations.
- 03
Install the system
Reinforcement, drainage and facing components are installed in the designed sequence, with ground changes escalated.
- 04
Verify and hand over
Testing, drill records, photographs and as-built information are returned for engineering review and close-out.

Questions
Common questions
What types of ground stability services do you provide?+
Geo Mana delivers slope stabilisation, slip repair, soil nails, ground anchors, rock bolts, mesh and facing systems, difficult access, retaining remediation, drainage, erosion control, field testing, condition assessment and planned slope maintenance. The right combination depends on the ground, design and access.
How do I know if my property needs slope stabilization?+
Signs like cracks in the soil, leaning retaining walls, surface erosion, or recent slips are indicators of slope instability. If you're unsure, we can conduct a site inspection to assess the risks and recommend the right solution.
What areas of New Zealand do you operate in?+
Geo Mana is based in West Auckland and mobilises across New Zealand. Commercial and specialist crews can deploy nationally; residential work is assessed by scope, access and location.
